Dr. Christina Lawrence

Au.D, CCC-A/SLP

Dr. Lawrence received her Doctorate in Audiology from Louisiana State University and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Southeastern Louisiana University. She maintains national certification with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association as well as state licensure in four states. She is a fellow at the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

As a means to meet a wider need for hearing care, Dr. Lawrence founded Speech Hearing and Balance Institute, Inc, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing speech, language, and hearing services to low-income individuals.

Dr. Lawrence is fluent in English, Spanish, and American Sign Language.

Nick Lawrence is from Lander, Wyoming. He graduated from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center with a Masters of Communication Sciences and Disorders. He specializes in preschool language development and adult neurogenics. Nick developed a preschool speech screening program within Red Mesa Unified School District #27, located on the Navajo Reservation.

He is nationally certified in Speech-Language Pathology with the American Speech Language and Hearing Association and works in various rural schools on the Western Slope.

He performs in an old time string band and enjoys hiking the area’s canyons and mountains.
